3D TV CYA

Some People May Have Problems

3D TV Dangers include seizures, disorentation, and dizziness, according to published reports in the media and from Samsung, a prominent 3D TV manufacturer. Aside from the fact that not everyone can see TV and movies in 3D, it is also possible to get disoriented when looking at 3D Sets for a long time, so apparently you should take breaks during 3D TV viewing. This may or may not be a feasible solution. Additionally, there are warnings for old people people who are intoxicated, and pregnant women, who presumably are neither old or intoxicated at the time of their TV viewing. Because 3D LCD and Plasma screens create a realistic effect, and a certain level of optical switching is used in the 3D glasses that are required for such viewing, some people may be more susceptible to side effects, in a similar way that some people are affected by flourescent lighting. Naturally, there are also warnings that you should not be using 3D glasses when you aren't watching TV, or you could hurt your eyes.
